Wine Review: This opaque and dark red colored Merlot based wine from St. Emilion is Excellent. It opens with a black cherry and gentle oak bouquet with a hint of boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, exceptionally balanced and smooth as silk. The flavor profile is a delicious black currant and black cherry blend with nicely integrated elegant minerality and gentle oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show very nice length. This terrific Bordeaux wine would be perfect with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken
