Wine Review: The clear and maraschino cherry colored wine from Tavel opens with a maraschino cherry and red plum bouquet with hints wet stone. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and delicate. The flavor profile is a maraschino cherry and strawberry blend with notes of stony minerality and tangerine. I also detected hints of watermelon. The finish is dry and refreshing.
