Wine Review: This slightly dark red colored wine from the Moulin-a-Vent commune opens with a blackberry and black plum bouquet with hints of cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated gentle acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a loam, oolong tea and mild blackberry blend with notes black plum compote. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Gamay with duck breast. Enjoy – Ken and Dave
