Wine Review: This deep gold colored Trebbiano opens with a white peach and crush oyster shell bouquet we also detected hints of persimmon and vanilla cream pasty. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, slightly viscous, mouthcoating, and bright. The flavor profile is a white peach and lemon blend with notes of chalky minerality and saline. We also detected hints of ginger, apple, and almond. The finish is moderate in length. The Tasting Panel would pair this Trebbiano with pan-fried walleye or with bratwurst smothered with sauerkraut. Enjoy – KWGTP
