Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Cliff Lede opens with a green apple and shortbread biscuit bouquet with hints of honeydew melon and lime zest. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is almond, quince, and green tea blend with notes of lychee and Anjou pear. We also detected some hints of ginger, minerality, and light lemon, The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with an Imperial crab stuffed halibut or with cherrystones on the half shell. Enjoy - KWGTP
