Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Cline is a very good value. It opens with a red currant and black cherry bouquet with a hint of leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a blackberry and cherry-cola blend with hints of minerality, mild oak, red currant and strawberry. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins drift away nicely. While this Zin is flavorful, it is not a fruit bomb, making it food friendly. It when nicely with our barbecue boneless grilled short ribs. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Dark berries, coffee and chocolate with great vanilla oak character and a long lingering finish. Pairs with pasta dishes with a light tomato sauce and grilled meats.
