Wine Review: This dark magenta colored Carignane from Cline opens with notes of currant, black raspberry, cigar box, oak along with a hint of anise on the nose. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth and silky. It displays flavors of dried dark cherries, black currants, ripe plum and cassis. This is a lush wine with vibrant dark fruit flavors that linger nicely. We would pair this Carignane with blue cheese burgers from the grill. - Karen and Stuart
