Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Cline opens with a plum, blackberry, oak and light spearmint chewing tobacco bouquet. The full body is bold, fruity, dry, crisp, and slightly sweet with balanced tannins. The flavor profile is plum, black cherry, black raspberry, cinnamon, and spice with hints of black licorice. The chewy tannins stick around before eventually fading away nicely on the finish. I would recommend pairing this Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel with a prune and goat cheese appetizer. - Joe
