Wine Review: This clear and very pale straw-colored Verdicchio from Colleleva is a very good value. It opens with a very fragrant sea breeze and green tea bouquet with hints of lime. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is a green tea, and lime blend with notes of stone dust. I also detected hints of fennel. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are pleasantly refreshing.
