Wine Review: This deep purple colored Malbec from Colomé opens with an ash, pencil lead and bouquet with hints of smoked meat and black currant. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and rich. The flavor profile is graphite and blackberry blend with notes of espresso. We also picked up some hints of stewed plum, black currant, and oak. The finish is dry and its managed polished tannins and fruit drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would suggest pairing this Malbec with beef wellington. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This wine is intense in color and full of aromas like cherries, blackberries, figs, cassis and cloves with elegant spice and mineral notes. The mouth is crisp and robust with a high concentration of ripe and round tannins.
