Wine Review: This midnight blue colored Syrah from Washington State was very well liked by the tasting panel. It opens with a mild blueberry and gentle black raspberry bouquet with hints of oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is an oak influenced black currant with notes of spice and coffee. We also detected a hint of plum and toasty oak. The finish is dry and its tannins show terrific control and length. The panel suggested pairing this wine with braised short ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This Rhone style Syrah delivers rich aromatics of spice, blueberry and sweet blackberry. Layered, full-bodied flavors of saddle leather and spice round out the fruit notes and lead to a distinctive blueberry finish. The dusty mineral character captures the essence of Syrah from this region.
