Wine Review: This clear and white gold colored Chardonnay from Cristom opens with a mild herbal tea and gentle lemon bouquet with hints of stone dust, green apple, and bee's wax. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very nicely balanced, silky smooth, crisp, and fresh. The flavor profile is a lemon and green apple blend with notes of white pepper and almond. We also detected hints of pineapple, green tea, and chalky minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this food friendly and very versatile Oregon Chard with a scallop linguine with lemon and garlic sauce. Enjoy - KWGTP
