Wine Review: This clear and medium brown colored 10-Year-Old Tawny Port from Croft opens with a prune and molasses bouquet with hints of marzipan, fig, and toffee. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, zesty, and fresh. The flavor profile is a dried fig and molasses blend with notes of black licorice and toasted walnut. We also detected hints of dried black cherry and toffee. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity and a bit of heat show some nice length. We would sip this 10-Year-Old Tawny on its own. With food, try it with a pecan pie or with shortbread cookies. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: With an attractive, tawny color and amber rim, this wine shows full, complex aromas of mellow spices along with walnut, butterscotch, and fine oak notes against a background of rich, jammy fruit. On the palate, the wine is silky and round, full of ripe fig flavors. An excellent choice for the end of a meal. Serve slightly chilled on its own or with walnuts or roasted almonds. Made to be enjoyed immediately.
