Wine Review: This clear medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Cuvaison opens with a red plum and light loam bouquet with hints of red raspberry, cinnamon, and mushroom. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, vibrant, and fresh. The flavor profile is raspberry and spiced red plum blend with notes of oak, clove, and rhubarb. We also detected hints of strawberry licorice, cola, cinnamon, and loam. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and mild tannins were nicely extended. The Tasting Panel would then pair this Pinot with a charcuterie board. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Our 2022 Estate Pinot Noir embodies the hallmark characteristics of our Los Carneros estate. Its complexity is a testament to the early harvest, which preserved characteristics of bright acidity, fresh red fruit, and subtle earthiness. This wine offers notes of plum, rose petals, wild strawberry, and allspice while the palate gives way to vibrant raspberry and red fruit flavors mingling with Rainier cherries, and delicate hints of jasmine tea alongside a touch of anise add depth.
