Wine Review: This slightly opaque and a dark red colored blend from Cypher opens with a fragrant red currant, black cherry, oak, and craisin bouquet. On the palate this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty black cherry and graphite blend with notes of oak, red plum and black pepper. I also detected hints of boysenberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show nice length. This red blend opens would pair very nicely with slow braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A Mourvedre leading Rhone blend with huge fruit, structure and spice. The nose has aromatics of blackberry, dark cherry, anise, leather, black pepper, followed by blueberry, tobacco and spice with a long cocoa vanilla finish. A perfect example of why we love cracking the code to exceptional wines with blends.
