Wine Review: This midnight purple colored wine from Cypher is very good. It opens with a blackberry jam bouquet with hints of anise and oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic, juicy and rich. The flavor profile is a blackberry and mineral blend with notes of oak, black coffee, and anise. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and flavors drift away nicely. This flavorful blend would pair nicely with grilled steak tips. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Rising from the ashes with an elegance that mirrors the evolution of Cypher and our move to the historic Depot Tasting Lounge in downtown Paso. Phoenix has big fruit and spice with a lingering finish. She is simultaneously elegant and bold and we are certain this Phoenix will be love at first taste.
