Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley opens with a faint cassis and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and refined. The flavor profile is a tasty cassis and oak blend with notes of blackberry and graphite. I also detected hints of black plum and black pepper. The finish is dry and its well-managed and refined medium tannins drift away nicely. The Cab is very food friendly and versatile. I would pair it with a a filet mignon. It will not last long! Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Davies Vineyards "Napa Valley" Cabernet Sauvignon opens with bountiful aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry, raspberry compote with light notes of vanilla, anise, and coffee beans. Integrated tannins anchor the wines palate, carrying flavors of dense blueberry and dark chocolate, with hints of vanilla and white pepper, leading to a youthful finish.
