Wine Review: This clear and red colored Pinot Noir from Davies Vineyards opens with a loam, cinnamon, and red raspberry bouquet with hints of wet clay and tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, angular, and expressive. The flavor profile is a stewed black plum and blackberry tea blend with notes of stony minerality, oak, and vanilla. We also detected hints of cinnamon, and coffee. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and its medium tannins fade away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with wild boar ragu or smoked beef ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP
