Wine Review: This pale ruby colored Pinot Noir from Davis Bynum opens with a faint black cherry bouquet with hints of dried strawberry and chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated moderate acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, soft, gentle, and smooth. The flavor profile is a strawberry and red plum blend with notes of chalky minerality. Hint of cinnamon, cranberry, and white tea. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins fade away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with a roasted pork tenderloin medallions with craisin sauce. Enjoy – KWGTP
