Wine Review: This clear and white gold colored Chardonnay from Davis Bynum opens with forward aromas of butterscotch and poached pear bouquet with hints of chamomile tea and white peach. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is fresh and crisp with rich flavors. Those flavors are an oak influenced poached bartlett pear and butterscotch blend with notes of white peach and guava. We also detected hints of toasted coconut, butter, and a touch of pineapple. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely extended. We would pair this Chardonnay with chicken ravioli with a light butter cream sauce or with a grilled lobster salad. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Our River West Vineyard Chardonnay features enticing aromas of lemon curd, apple pie and graham cracker, along with flavors of baked golden apple and pie crust. The sweet honeysuckle flavors weave together with a layer of toasted hazelnut, balance by oak aging and bright acidity.
