Wine Review: This clear and ruby colored Pinot Noir from Davis Bynum opens with a red plum and red cherry bouquet with hints of faint oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a tasty mild black cherry and black plum blend with notes of stone dust and mild licorice. I also detected hints of black pepper, oak, and black tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its polished fine tannins linger nicely before drifting away. I would pair this Pinot with beef carpaccio. Enjoy - Ken
