Wine Review: This deep purple colored Grenache based wine opens with an acai berry and blueberry bouquet with hints of cigar box. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with moderate acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and round. The flavor profile is black tea and mineral blend with notes of blackberry. We also detected some hints of black pepper, blueberry, and black licorice mixed in. The finish is dry, and its flavors and medium tannins linger and last for a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Grenache with duck confit or steak au poivre. Enjoy – KWGTP
