Wine Review: This clear and very pale copper colored Brut Rosé from Domaine Carneros displays many random streams of tiny bubbles. It opens with a mild moist bread dough and watermelon bouquet with hints of almond, dried strawberry, and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, fresh, and crisp. The flavor profile is a Bosc pear and stone dust blend with notes of red plum and tangerine. We also detected hints of green apple and lemon-lime. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this Brut Rose with fresh sliced Norwegian salmon. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The wine's aroma, delivered on a delicate mousse, hints of strawberry, tangerine, orange blossom, marmalade, and potpourri. The palate displays peach, apricot, watermelon, and a touch of underlining honey for a soft, delicate mouthfeel and a smooth, long finish. Despite its color, it is a true Brut and as dry as our other wines. Pair with salmon or fresh berries.
