Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Drouhin Oregon opens with a red plum and shoe polish bouquet with hints of cedar and green tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, seamless, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle black cherry and stone dust blend with notes of blueberry. I also detected hints of raspberry and a touch of cola at the very end. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity, and polished and fine tannins fade away nicely. I would pair this crowd-pleasing Pinot Noir with a grilled quail with a sweet plum glaze. Enjoy - Ken
