Wine Review: This dark coral colored rosé from Beaujolais is made with Gamay grapes. It opens with a red cherry and watermelon bouquet with hints of red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a stony minerality and Maraschino cherry blend with notes of watermelon and lime. I also detected a hint of melon at the very end. The finish is dry and refreshing. I would pair this rosé with a chilled shrimp cocktail. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: This rosé, for instance, comes from vines up to seventy years old! The result is a pretty, round, and versatile rosé full of notes of red fruit, melon, and rhubarb. It finishes with a subtle herbal note and food friendly acidity.
