Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Syrah from Saint Joseph opens with a cigar box and cherry bouquet with notes of raspberry and eucalyptus. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a cedar plank and plum blend with notes of cinnamon and rosemary. We also detected hints of strawberry licorice. The finish is dry and its fine tannins fade away nicely. It was suggested that this Syrah would pair well with a bacon burger. Enjoy - KWGTP
