Wine Review: This dark ruby Grenache based Gigondas opens with a mild cherry and red beet bouquet with a hint of old oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a mild black currant with nicely integrated minerality and gentle old oak and a touch of plum and dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins show very nice length. This wine would pair well with Colorado braised pork belly. Enjoy - Ken
