Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chenin Blanc from Vouvray opens with a Granny Smith apple and Anjou pear like bouquet with a hint of pilsner beer and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, shows a little sweetness and is quite mouthwatering. The flavor profile is lime and tangerine blend with notes of minerality and a touch of pineapple. The finish is dry and its flavors linger after the wine in gone. This fruit forward offering would pair nicely with pan seared sea scallops. Enjoy - Ken
