Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and medium ruby colored Châteauneuf-du-Pape opens a red raspberry jam and green tea bouquet with hints of red plum, dried herbs, and juniper berry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, well-balanced, smooth, and plush. The flavor profile is a dried strawberry and stony minerality blend with notes of dried herb and red plum. We also detected hints of hibiscus tea, soft red cherry, and cedar. The finish is dry and its tannins build-up and last for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this CDP Roy's rib roast or with bacon wrapped filet mignon with sherried mushrooms. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Made from old vines of different varieties growing together, with moderate yields, Boisrenard is characterized by the silky weave of its tannins and its generous fruit. A wine of immense depth.
