Wine Review: This pale ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with an inviting cedar plank, sauteed mushroom and black cherry bouquet with hints of red raspberry and birch beer. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a gentle cedar influenced black plum with notes of cinnamon, dried black cherry and cocoa dust. We also detected some hints of dried herb and nutmeg mixed in. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins drift away nicely. The Panel would pair this Pinot with Pinot Noir glazed squab with roasted vegetables or with veal Milanese. Enjoy – KWGTP
