Wine Review: This ruby red colored from Côtes du Rhône Villages opens with a mild black cherry bouquet with notes of mil chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The flavor profile is a black cherry and stony minerality blend with notes of black tea and black pepper. I also picked up some hints of plum and oak towards the very end. The finish is dry and its medium tannins and acidity linger for a while. This wine is a very good mid-week wine to pair with your favorite carnitas burrito or a burger. Enjoy - Ken
