Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Chateauneuf-Du-Pape opens with a blueberry cobbler bouquet with hints of peaches and plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and savory. The flavor profile is graphite and black tea with notes of blueberry, oak, and black plum. The finish is dry, and its dusty moderate tannins linger and last for a very long time. This Chateauneuf-Du-Pape would pair well with a marinated grilled hanger steak. Enjoy - Ken
