Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark red colored Chateauneuf-du-Pape opens with a gentle black cherry bouquet with hints of red plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is very well balanced, gentle, and smooth. The flavor profile is a stony mineral and black plum blend with notes of mild smoky oak and vanilla. We also detected some hints of black pepper and black raspberry. The finish is dry and its moderate fine dusty tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this wine with filet mignon. Enjoy – KWGTP
