Wine Review: This white gold colored Riesling from Wachau opens with a yellow grapefruit and lime bouquet with hints of apricot pit. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with robust acidity. The mouthful is bright, lively, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is an intense lime with notes of yellow grapefruit, crushed stone minerality and orange zest. I also detected hints of white pepper, saline, and apricot. The finish is dry and very refreshing. I would pair this very good Riesling as an aperitif. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Present and pronounced on the nose this wine displays stone fruit, delicate lime, and hints of ripe pear. On the palate there are flavors of juicy white peach and subtle hints of apricot. This wine is well balanced by a refined structure, very fresh, crisp, and plush acidity. Serve well chilled. This Riesling is a classic accompaniment to fresh Mediterranean cuisine such as a Bouillabaisse or a Piccata Milanese. It also goes ideally with sushi and sashimi.
