Wine Review: This is a stunner of a wine that has pinpointed the American wine drinker as its focus target. Notes of vanilla, clove, licorice, and blackberry jump right out of the glass. On the palate, the oak meshes well with the clove, nutmeg, black raspberries, and jammed cherries creating a coat of flavors for the palate. The finish has the gentle acidity to brighten up the wine but is long. It would pair well with all sorts of grilled meats, red and game meats especially. – Nicolay

Winemaker Notes: Certified organic. Selected lots from clay and gravel soils. Deeply robed, black fruit and sage on the nose with rounded tannins and juicy fruit. Oak apparent but not dominant.
