Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Tempranillo opens with a gentle raspberry and cedar bouquet with hints of strawberry and tobacco leaf. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is soft oak influenced mild red raspberry with notes of restrained mild plum. We also detected faint hints of black currant, black pepper and black cherry mixed in. The finish is dry and its flavors and fine tannins drift away nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this Tempranillo with a baked ziti with ground beef and sweet Italian sausage. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2017 Vina Magna Crianza has a deep robe and structure that are highlighted by pronounced minerality on the nose and a focused, saturated and persistent finish.
