Wine Review: This Cabernet Sauvignon based wine from Dominus is very dark ruby and opens with a blackberry and boysenberry bouquet with hints of black raspberry and graphite. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty mild graphite and gentle boysenberry blend with notes of oak and blackberry. I also detected a hint of dark chocolate mixed in. The finish is dry and its flavors and gentle tannins show an extended length. This Cab based wine would pair well with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Napanook 2017 offers rosehip, orange zest, warm spice and pomegranate with deep earth notes, silex and a gripping finish.
