Wine Review: This very approachable Argentinian Malbec has aromas of red cherries, violets, leather, and tobacco leaf and a deep red color. It has good balance on the palate. It is medium bodied with moderate acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth and round with an easygoing freshness. There are flavors of black cherry, black plum, and stony minerality with notes of graphite and dried herbs. There is also a bit of spice at the end. It closes with moderate length dry rounded tannins on the finish. Open a bottle mid-week to pair with grilled cheeseburgers. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Intense violet color. In the nose, aromas of black fruit, violets, and spices, with some mineral and graphite notes, are perceived. Great balance and freshness in the mouth, with good concentration and structure.
