Wine Review: This ruby colored Nero d'Avola from Sicily opens with a pomegranate and black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty plum with notes of gentle minerality and faint oak. I also detected hints of pomegranate throughout. The finish is dry and its fruit and mild tannins linger for a while. This Nero would be a nice glass pour and would pair very nicely with a juicy burger. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Sherazade 2016 has a brilliant ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose offers a pleasantly fruity bouquet with fragrant notes of cherry and red plum, combined with light spicy scents of black pepper. The palate is fleshy and perfectly reflects the nose, pleasantly refreshed by acidic verve. A fragrant red, soft tannins, perfect to sip from the glass. We suggest it with pizza or classic tomato spaghetti.
