Wine Review: This impressive Riesling from Dr. Thanish was one of our top finishers in our recent blind tasting. It is pale yellow colored and opens with a mild apricot and pineapple bouquet with a hint of petrol. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, nicely balanced, and pleasantly sweet. The flavor profile is a very tasty tangerine with a touch of honey, apricot and Bartlett pear. The finish is elegant and its delicate sweetness lingers nicely. Most of the panel agreed that this wine would be perfect on its own. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: At the beginning still quite closed, the wine shows a pronounced bouquet of very ripe red and yellow fruit with exotic and slightly spicy notes, a well integrated acidity and the for the Mosel typical slatey minerality. Matches delicate foods excellently. Try this wine with shellfish, roasted poultry or fish.
