Wine Review: This GG level dry Riesling from the Rheinhessen region of Germany is a golden yellow colored with a bouquet of nectarine, Golden Delicious apple, lemon blossom, wet slate, and a hint of fresh apricot. Quite lively on the palate. It is plush and well-balanced with a medium-plus body and integrated medium-plus acidity. There is plenty of ripe fruit and a supple mouthfeel. I found flavors of stony minerality, peach, apricot, and honeydew melon with a note of spiced apple. The finish is mineral-driven, refreshing, and long with a light bitter note. Enjoy this impressive Riesling value with veal piccata. - Mark
