Wine Review: This Gruner Veltliner from New York's Finger Lakes region is a delightful wine. It is very pale straw colored, medium bodied, crisp and refreshing. It opens with a lemon and apple blossom bouquet with notes of hay and wax. Its flavor profile is a golden delicious apple, lemon and peach blend. The finish is dry and shows plenty of lingering acidity. This good value Gruner would go perfectly with king crab legs. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Expressive wine with dominant characters of grapefruit, lemon, fresh basil and elegant kiwi notes. The mineral backbone is enhanced by a crisp acidity, giving the wine superb complexity, and making it a food friendly style.
