Wine Review: This medium straw-colored Gewürztraminer from the Finger Lakes opens with a fragrant ripe lychee and rose bouquet with hints of apricot and tangerine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. It displays bright acidity with round edges. The flavor profile is a lychee and cantaloupe blend with notes of clover honey and ginger. We also detected some hints of tangerine and light coconut as it fades away. The finish is off-dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Gewürztraminer would pair well with Thai rolls, shrimp pad Thai or chicken lo-mein. Enjoy – Ken & Joe
