Wine Review: This almost clear colored Gruner Veltliner opens with an Anjou pear, pineapple, and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated gentle acidity. The mouthfeel is round and friendly. The flavor profile is an Anjou pear and mild pineapple blend with integrated stony minerality. I also detected notes of lime and hints of saline and yellow grapefruit towards the very end. The finish is dry and subtly fades away. This Gruner is food friendly and approachable. I would pair this good value wine with Weiner Schnitzel a la Roquefort. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Lime and green apple are held in sleek suspension by a stony minerality. With touches of pepper on the finish, it's full in the mouth and quite powerful. It succeeds as it is very expressive while maintaining its focus and precision. Pair with grilled asparagus, stinky cheese, or sushi.
