Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from the Finger Lakes opens with a fresh lemon zest and mild pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with bright plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright and lively. The flavor profile is a lemon and green apple blend with hints of mild grapefruit, almond, and green tea. The finish subtly drifts away. This Chard is a nice affordable weekday wine. I would pair it with a cod fish chowder. Enjoy - Ken
