Wine Review: This almost clear colored Auslese from Dr. Loosen is impressive. It opens with a pineapple, lemon zest and dried apricot bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, delicate and refined. The flavor profile is a very tasty green tea with notes of lime, ripe pineapple and delicate minerality. The finish is pleasantly sweet and shows terrific length. This Riesling got even better over the next several days. It can surely be enjoyed on its own. With food, I would pick your favorite bay scallop recipe. Enjoy - Ken
