Wine Review: The Loosen Brothers are consistently delicious with their Dr. L “Dry Riesling”. This vintage is a pale golden yellow color. On the nose it is very aromatic with prominent wet stone minerality, apple, pineapple, spicy white pepper and candied lemon. On the palate it is medium-minus bodied with medium-plus acidity. It is just slightly off-dry, fresh, bright and clean. There are flavors of mineral infused grapefruit, lemon and white peach. The mineral-driven finish is moderate in length. Have this with an order of shrimp Pad Thai. – Mark

Winemaker Notes: This crisp, refreshing Riesling that is the dry counterpart to the fruity, off-dry Dr. L Riesling. A harmonious, beautifully balanced Riesling made in a dry style that is extraordinarily versatile with food. It captures the elegant and racy characteristics of steep, slate-soil vineyards of the Mosel at a very reasonable price.
