Wine Review: This clear and pale white gold colored Spätlese level Riesling from Dr. Loosen opens with a jasmine and apricot bouquet with hints of green tea and lime. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, delicate, and refreshing. The flavor profile is lime and candied ginger blend with notes of lemon iced tea and loquat. We also detected hints of pineapple. The finish is pleasantly sweet, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. We would pair this Riesling with Pam's fluffy macaroons and Zabaione. Enjoy - KWGTP
