Wine Review: This Riesling from Dr. Pauly Bergweiler opens with a faint Anjou pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly sweet and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a ripe Anjou pear and honeydew melon blend with notes of peach along with hints of light lemon and gentle pineapple. The finish remains medium sweet and its flavors linger nicely after the wine is gone. This Riesling would pair well with sweet and sour chicken with pineapple. Enjoy – Ken
