Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Drew and Oregon's "Deep End" is Excellent! It opens with a mild pomegranate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a yummy ripe black plum with notes of red raspberry and pomegranate with hints of minerality and gentle oak. The finish is dry and its flavors roll away gracefully. This Pinot would pair perfectly with Emeril's grilled salmon with sweet corn, tomato and avocado relish, and grilled asparagus. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Dark cherry red color. The nose has exotic aromas of cherry wood incense, mushroom, forest floor and fresh rosemary and lavender. The flavors are consistent with the fresh herb aromas along with high toned plum and pomegranate. The fine grain tannins are soft long finish staying fresh with elevated acidity and mineral character.
